Article 3: The Judicial Branch
In the judicial branch, there is the Supreme Court Justices and lower court judges. The nine Supreme Court Justices are appointed by the President with approval of the Senate. Lower court justices are elected by the people. Lower courts have a trial by jury. The Supreme Court however has no jury. They have the power to return an accused person to the place where the crime was commited, the ability to try cases, and, hear cases that are being appealed.
