The House of Representatives: The House of Representatives are elected by the popular vote. The people of the United States of America choose them. The requirements to become a member is to be a inhabitant of a state running, be 25 years old, and to be a seven year citizen of the united states. Here, there are 435 members and one representative for every 30,000 people in a state. The House of Representatives has the power to raise taxes, make spending and funding bills, impeach the President, and elect the President if no candidate receives the majority of the electoral vote.
